By the time I got back it was more overcast and a lot more wind. I did manage to get a few photos but with this little spider not wanting to keep still and then the wind, it wasn't very easy to get a good photo.<br /><br />I do like this one though, even though there is a bit too much flash. Really do need a flash diffuser. Yesterday I was standing in front of a tree staring straight at it. Now you can imagine how funny this must look to someone who doesn't know what I am doing. All they see is this person standing in front of a tree staring at it. While staring at the tree I did get to photograph some very interesting little (very little) bugs, which unfortunately didn't come out. So all my tree staring was for nothing.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Did I mention that the only place I get to wander now to look for bugs is at the hotel where my husband works. I never thought of including the name of my camera and what lens I use. Even though it can be very frustrating when the photo doesn't come out.&nbsp;</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I don't use a tripod (I don't have one thats why) but sometimes it is not possible to use a tripod. I always seem to find bugs in the most awkward places.&nbsp;</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">When you hold the camera and have to adjust the focus and take the picture you just have to make sure you don't move much otherwise the picture comes out blurry.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I don't move any of my bugs or catch them to take photos, I like seeing them in their natural surroundings even if it means they fly away before I get my photo.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I love taking photos of any bug but my favourite is spiders. I have taken a few pictures of jumping spiders and each time I am just amazed by them. The way they look up at you wondering what you are doing. At one point I came in quite close and he flew away. My first thought was that he was now gone but all he did was land on the leaf right in front of me. It was as if he was showing off. I am a bit disappointed though because out of all the photos (over 100) this is the best one. For some reason most of my photos are blurry.
